If Facebook, Google & More Were Superheroes [Infographic]

Social Media Websites As Superheroes
We are constantly bombarded with the news of up and coming social networking services or websites that are supposed to make our lives so much easier to live. In reality, we love them because we find the right kind of content on them to make our days a lot more interesting and fun. When I say content, I don’t solely mean articles, applications and games. What I mean is anything that you can read. Whether that is someone’s bio or an article doesn’t really matter. To me, it’s all content that is shared through the tubes of the Internet. It’s a never-ending stream of cool, sad, useful and joyful bits and pieces that make up our entire online experience.
What if we took a moment and turned everything upside down. Let’s pretend for a second that the Internet was a movie consisting of a lot of superheroes. Why? Well, just because we can. Who would some of the websites we use on a daily basis be and what superpowers would they possibly have? It’s quite easy to find out now since there is an infographic dedicated to the topic. Yeah, that’s apparently a good way to look at the competition of these popular brands.
This infographic called The Internet Justice League was put together by College Humor (of course), and it serves up an epic punch that will make you take in some knowledgeable information in the simplest of ways. I guess it’s to no one’s surprise that Google ended up being an incarnation of Superman, but you will have to look below to find out who the other ones are. Have a look and see if you agree with College Humor. My question is, why do people keep comparing social media websites to superheroes in the first place? Well, that is an entirely different article I guess. This thing is crackin me up though.
